The Dress!

Picture
What more is there to say, this is THE dress for me! My Maid of Honor pulled it and I kept pushing it to the back until I ran our of dresses, so I put this one on to satisfy her.. I'm glad I did! As soon as she saw me, she cried.. And I cried. At that moment, I knew this was IT. But we were still over a year out from the wedding and I didn't want to buy my dress that early, so I left the store without it. A few months later, my consultant called me to inform me that she'd just found out it was being discontinued and she knew I loved it. Needless to say, a week later, the dress was ordered. :) And the best part, by it being discountinued, I about a quarter of the original price for it! From $1,200 originally, I paid $291.38 (to be exact)!

Thanks to my wonderful husband to be, I've got some serious wedding day bling! :)

My necklace and earrings are a matching set and consist of silver and marquis cut diamonds. (I don't have a picture yet, but I'll update when I do!)

And he also surprised me on my birthday with my tiara. It matches perfectly with my necklace and earring set! I'll be pairing this baby with a fingertip-length veil.

Because a girl really can't have too many pairs of shoes, wedding day included, I also have a simple little pair of sandals.

Bride's Bouquet will be something simple with just calla lily's. We are DIYing this, the bridesmaid's bouquet's, and the boutonniere's. We have a good friend who owns a nursery and is giving us all of the calla lily's we need for this as a wedding gift!

I'm hoping to tie in our wedding colors with the ribbons on the bouquet.
